Choosing the right steel grade begins with the selection of the appropriate grade of steel; thus, we produce steel grade EN8 Round Bars from our factory located in Ahmedabad, which is suitable for a number of applications; i.e., machining processes as well as heavy industry applications (i.e., construction) and fabrication.
The EN8 Round Bar is manufactured in various sizes and lengths as per design specifications or as per predetermined industry standards. Each Round Bar is cut then straightened prior to shipment so that there will be little to no dimensional variation between bars of similar diameter.
Dimensional accuracy is verified at the time of packing before being shipped out because there are many different machining methods that require the bars to be cut to specific dimensions. When making a poor choice when selecting a Round Bar it leads to the early wear of the tool or the completed part, which causes a loss of production time or rejection of the workpiece. Therefore, the following procedures are implemented in order to assure dimensional accuracy and from consistent hardness requirements through the use of product identification methods.
We ensure that steel is selected from reliable sources with known mechanical properties to ensure that the Round Bars will have a long service life in the applications for which they are intended. The EN8 Round Bars produced by us perform very well in either an engineering workshop or in an automotive parts manufacturing facility or any industrial equipment manufacturing facility.
Transportation of each EN8 Round Bar, will have packing and handling specifically designed so that the surface finish is protected and that there is no bending during transits throughout the state of Gujarat and other areas within India.

EN8 Round Bar is a medium carbon steel bar widely used for applications requiring higher strength and toughness than mild steel. Known for its excellent machinability and good tensile properties, EN8 is typically supplied in black hot rolled, bright drawn, or precision ground finishes.
It is suitable for a wide range of engineering components such as shafts, studs, bolts, connecting rods, crankshafts, axles, and other automotive and general mechanical parts.
